Dress a Body, which is small individual flannelboards for them to play with.
I used adhesive back felt (from Walmart) and just stuck it on a cardboard square to make the small flannelboard and cut out a simple doll (from the MakingFriends paper dolls site) and simple clothing.
Did Make a Face as well:
I also made some food ones, as well. Like make a sandwich and make a pizza.
For the lesson I showed the pic from the manual and posted this body on the flannelboard:
Then I had them touch their corresponding body parts, the church's website has a great visuals section but if you can't find what you're looking for Kizclub under the Topics section has color and black/white ones. They have a great selection.
We talked about ways we can take care of our bodies using a mystery bag. Brush & Soap = keep our bodies clean. Apple = take in good food. Ball = exercise and pillow = rest.
Anything visual, tactile or sensory goes over well with little children.
